Choosing a Therapist who is the right fit for you is essential to your success in therapy.

About Me

I truly believe that we all have the capacity to learn, grow, and change in ways that will enhance our lives and our relationships with others.  I am passionate about helping my clients achieve their life and relationship goals and successfully navigate life challenges.

As your Therapist, I will collaborate with you as you define your goals for therapy.  Together, we will develop a therapeutic plan that will help you create a more meaningful life for yourself and the people you cherish.  I will provide you with techniques that will help you proactively solve issues that arise in the future.

I received my masters degree from California Family Study Center in Burbank, CA, and was license by the state of California in Marriage, Family, Child Therapy in 1991.

My experience over the past 30 years includes working in clinical outpatient settings, schools, in client's homes, incorporating horses and other animals into mental health sessions, and providing online therapy. In addition, I train and supervise therapy interns and provide in-services and workshops on any of my specialty topic areas or for general mental health and wellbeing.

In individual therapy, I will assist you in symptom relief and the development of emotional resilience.

For couples, we will work together as a team, and I will provide you with the skills and tools that will help you successfully increase your relationship satisfaction.

Using a blend of evidence-based practices, I am able to help parents fine tune their parenting skills and guide them in helping their child/adolescent in the development of healthy emotional regulation.

Additional Languages:  I am fluent in American Sign Language and have years of experience working with members of the Deaf community.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my horses, miniature donkeys and goats, and spending time with my wonderful family.
