HEALTHY BREAK-UPS

Is there such a thing as a "Healthy Break-up?"

Surprisingly, in many cases, the answer is, "Yes!"

There are a few reasons to end partnerships in an emotionally healthy way:

1.  There are children involved, and they will continue to have contact with both parents.

2.  Both partners wish to maintain a friendship.

3.  You have friends in common and wish to avoid awkward encounters in the future.

4.  You have joint property and want to avoid a contentious divorce.

If you would like to end the partnership amicably,  we will work together to make that happen!

Together we will set goals and work toward those goals.  This may mean reconnecting to the reasons you fell in love in the first place so you can both tap back into some positive feelings.  This will help you to let go of the anger, resentment, guilt, or feelings of loss, and move forward in a healthy way.

I will ensure that sessions are respectful and impartial, and that you feel comfortable with the process.
